What is Malware?

What is Phishing?
This is any email that is sent out with the purpose of collecting data from you to use for illegitimate purposes. The emails often appear from legitimate sources because they are ‘spoofed’. They might even appear to come from your own organisation. Again, this is where training is crucial.
What is Vishing?
This is the same process as above only, instead of an email, your organisation is contacted by phone. The same purpose applies to collect data from you to use for illegitimate purposes, so it is important to treat unverified phone enquiries in the same way as unverified email.
